linked data - semantic web
Tim Berners Lee, inventor of the Web, from the beginning wanted that his invention was semantic forming a global data base of the human knowledge, in which the information could be consulted by all the world and understood by the machines, to generate new knowledge, answer questions and create artificial intelligences that could surpass the Turing Test. This idea begins to become true, but first have to overcome several difficulties that I'm going to expose next. Surprise yourself with the rest of "The problems of the semantic Web"

Microsoft vs WebGL
Internet Explorer, that sadly is the most popular web browser is also the worst in the fulfilment of standards and the one that delay more in implementing them. Taking advantage of their dominant situation Microsoft, decided that the new versions will not going to be compatible with the new open standard for the 3D Web (WebGL) to try favour the implantation of their proprietary technology (Silverlight), but that decision could be a bad idea. de-fragmentation
In the computer science, sometimes, appears false beliefs due to the ignorance of that really occurs in the machine. This time I'm going to demystify some of this old beliefs, which say that the hard disk can't be fragmented when we run a Linux based operating system. Surprise yourself with the rest of "What is fragmentation and the old myth of the fragmentation in Linux"

grave with a computer
The past month died three great geniuses that had made that the computing be as it is today. I'm referring to John MacCarthy, Dennis Ritchie and Steve Jobs. Probably you only know who is the last, which is the only one that has had media coverage. However is the less important, because if the other two had not existed, Steve Jobs perhaps wouldn't have achieved anything.
